Welcome Home Heike!
From all of our online friends, I know we are
happy to have you back, safe and sound. Now,
Elen can relax, as I am sure she was overwhelmed
with questions about you! Elen, you are a star!
Heike, you keep this board running with the help of
many un named others. I thank all of you. I hope Heike
will take it easy, and follow doctors orders. Right, we all
know she will do that! (wink) lol
I mentioned that we had a beautiful day the other day. Well,
I am not going to mention that again. The next day we had 96 degree
temp. and 116 degree with the heat index. This will continue for a few
more days, for sure. Then we had a storm last night that scared my cats and
myself really bad! Lots of lightening and hard windy rain. So, it probably was
my fault for bragging about our beautiful weather! I am bad! I also don't
like storms, and not sure who was more frightened, me or the cats! lol
OK enough of my news and weather reports. I know they really interest all of you!
Love and light to all....Sandie
Hi @ all,
back at home, and I'm happy that all is now behind me.
My belly hurts a little, but that is absolutly normal. Finaly they did, what I want and so we have the hope, that it was the last time in the hospital. Sure I made this time some pictures and I think I will be very "coloured" in the next days *lol*.
The doc told me, I need patience for the recovering, but that is clear, it was not an easy surgery and I have a lot of help at home.
Hey Sandie, it is great to read you here again. I really missed to talk with you. At the moment, my kids are outside playing with their friends. Here we don't have to count with rain today, but that can change in the next days.
I think in the next days we can continue with the training for a special video. Cross your fingers for us.
Love to all of you!
@ Heike.........where are you? Home soon, I hope!
@ Elen, have you talked to Heike and how is she doing?
I know they are probably ready toss he out soon, as
she is most likely telling them how to do things, and that
she is fine and ready to go!
@ Anyone hear from here, please post.
Hope everyone is well and having a great day. The weather here
if fine (for a change) no rain.
Love to everyone! Sandie
Hi @ all,
today I feel much better. The day of the surgery, I don't remember, but today I feel like I could go home. OK, we all know, that this is only a wish, but with a little luck I can leave the hospital at monday. I hope so.
I'm really glad, that I have this time the laptop with me, so I can stay in contact with all of you.
Love to all of you
What a nice story.
I don't use the past tense myself.....just don't seems to be right. Of course I know that he is gone, but somehow it doesn't feel like it.
I just read a biography about the choreographer Balanchine and he talks about the composer Tchaikovsky ( a man he never meet and who died long before Balanchines time )
He talks about Tchaikovsky like you would talk about someone present and part of your life. In the first place he sounds a bit crazy, but the more I think about it the more I see a parallel to how I feel about Patrick. Balanchines says that this kind of thinking is quite common among Russians.....if so, they are wise people.
Hi Everyone..........I have a cute comment from
one of my few neighbors. (we live in the country).
I was sitting out by our pool and the 15 year old girl who lives
nearby stopped by. I am wearing my Patrick Swayze shirt and
she was totally impressed! She said "is that PATRICK SWAYZE" SHIRT?
"Oh, I love him! He IS so neat!" Not speaking in the past tense, she
is one of the younger generations that still think he is
wonderful! Just wanted to share that with all of you! Patrick has no
age limit fans.......he may be gone but surely not forgotten!
Love to all, Sandie
Thank you for being our eyes and ears for
Heike! I am so happy to know she is getting
better and bored! That really is a great sign of
recovery! Please tell her we miss her and
we send our love. Truly this is the place where
friends gather and help each other, along with
having fun. I really have missed all of you this past
year or so. You will notice I have moved to
Ohio from KY. All of a 45 minute drive! lol
Just had another phone call from Heike.
She is doing well and already shwoing the two symptoms of a recovering patient: "It's boring here" and "I want to go home."........lol
She says she is not having pain in her legs, so the surgery is already working.
A little update: I talked to Heike on the phone. She is still sleepy from the narcotics, but quite ok.
She would like to leave the hospital the day before yesterday, but I am afraid she will have to stay for some days.......but the surgery went well and she said that her legs are already a bit better.
Toi Toi Toi
I wish you all the best!
Come back home soon!
